Mexican Hopefuls ready for Challenge San Gil. A new generation of great champions will be racing in Queretaro next month.

Next June Mexican top triathletes will have the chance to race in their home soil for the first Challenge event in Mexico, and the second in Latin America.

Challenge San Gil will be the A race for the best long distance triathletes in the country.

A coming force in the world of triathlon will have a good chance to test himself in the tough course of Challenge San Gil.

Mauricio Mendez, even though his young age, will be one of the favorites for the title. With 19 years of age, he is Xterra Junior World Champion, he also has placed top 5 in International Xterra events, and recently, he placed third in IRONMAN 70.3 Monterrey.

Two times San Gil Female Elite Champion, Cecilia Perez will also be a favorite next June. One of Mexico top female elite athletes in the country will be racing Challenge San Gil 2015 event.

With a tough competition, Cecilia will have a change to race great elite international athletes, and will have a good chance to be one of Mexico hopeful athletes for the podium.

With a good number of national Titles in Olympic distance format, Cecilia has the strength to face all the female contenders. She is a strong all around triathlete with great power on the bike and run.
